Nikki Bonsai garden is the leading Bonsai garden in South India, founded by D Ravindran, and based out of the picturesque Nagercoil, a quaint, cosy town at the southern tip of peninsular India. Four decades of passion and perseverance have now resulted in a Bonsai nursery with more than 35 species of Ficus, in a total collection of 2000 Bonsais of nearly 80 species of tropical and subtropical trees.
D Ravindran, a lawyer turned businessman by profession, and a horticulturalist at heart, took to the art of Bonsai in the early 70’s, quietly applying his knowledge and acquired experience in building Nikki Bonsai garden to what it is today.
