Vadodra is once again playing host to the prestigious All India Bonsai Convention and Exhibition from November 21 to 23, 2015 and we are proud to share with you the news that Nikki Bonsai Garden’s D Ravindran is one of the Bonsai Masters from India who will be sharing the stage with International Bonsai Masters at the event. This is the first time that Indian Bonsai Masters have been invited to demonstrate at the All India Bonsai Convention. The three day event includes workshops and demonstrations by the top bonsai experts and several other activities.
The Banyan Bonsai Club is organizing the event which is to be held at the Hotel Surya Palace, Sayajigunj- Vadodara.

The event is scheduled to start at 8.30 am on Nov 21st and will conclude at 4.30 pm on November 23rd.
Registration Fee: Rs.10,000/- per person.
The opening ceremony will be followed by a gala lunch for all our invitees. On the agenda are four demonstrations before lunch, and four after. Besides the demonstrations, there will be workshops. those who wish to participate in these workshops can do so with a payment of Rs.3500/-
The evenings will be filled with cultural programs and activities to entertain the delegates and invitees. Vadodara being a culturally rich city with a historic past, and also being surrounded by several visit worthy locations in close proximity, participants can undertake sightseeing tours.
Contests at the All India Bonsai Convention:
1. An All India Bonsai Talent Contest is bound to be a major draw at the convention. Experts will be given a raw plant which they will have to shape into aesthetically pleasing bonsais. The best plant will be awarded by Bonsai Headliners.
2. There will be a bonsai photography contest. Those who wish to participate can send a high resolution pictures in jpeg format to be judged by the masters.
3. A prize will be awarded to the best stall at the Bonsai Bazaar. The Bonsai Bazaar is a much anticipated part of the event, and if you are looking to buy bonsai plants, pots, figurines, decor for your plants, bonsai books or organic and inorganic fertilizers, this is the place to be.
